Committees

 

The EAI Committees are consultation and monitoring bodies which cover three crucial EAI operational areas and ensure effective cooperation and maximisation of outputs, both internally and externally.

The EAI Rules and Regulations Boardconsists of the President of the EAI, the Strategic Forum Chair and the International Cooperation Chair and is responsible for the EAI Governance Model and its modifications. It monitors the correct application and implementation of rules and oversees the evolution of EAI in order to accordingly align governance and procedures to the EAI scope and mission.

The EAI Member Affairs Board, chaired by the Secretary General of EAI with representation of the Cluster Chairs, recommends Membership procedures and initiatives to assure a growing and vital membership organization. The Board oversees EAI membership related activities, such as new members’ assessment, members’ withdrawal and/or resignation, and expulsion procedures.

The EAI Scope Committeeconsists of ICT and Innovation Experts drawn from leading innovation organizations. Currently, the Committee is composed of representatives of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology –EIT, Trento RISE and CREATE-NET Research Centre. The Committee monitors the latest global developments in science, technology and business in order to ensure that EAI Technology areas coverage is kept up to date.
