General Assembly
The EAI General Assembly gathers all EAI member organisations belonging to the following clusters: Institutions, SMEs, Corporations, Affiliated organisations, International Cooperation partners. It is a representation platform focused on knowledge transfer, synergies and participation.
The General Assembly discusses and develops the EAI overall goals and objectives interacting with the EAI Strategic Forum Committees, Innovation Cycle Working Groups and Advisory Board. Any legally established corporation, firm, partnership, university and institution complying with the following criteria can join EAI Strategic Forum:
- Support of the EAI core mission and vision
- Commitment to active involvement in EAI activities
- Respect of EAI bylaws
Through their participation in EAI, member organisations also contribute to a grassroots movement catalysing global innovation critical mass and impacting policy making processes at the European and global level.
The EAI General Assembly provides its members with:
- Access to a professionally managed and innovation oriented marketplace
- Access to a proactive pan European movement impacting European innovation policy making
- Continuous engagement in the EAI Innovation Cycle Working Groups fostering cooperation and services exchange
- Vision, guidance and feedback concerning the members’ active role and dialogue with EU institutions and innovation strategies
- A business oriented workspace offering partnerships, services, expertise under the open innovation paradigm
The EAI General Assembly members’ activities include but are not limited to:
- Initiation of new thematic Areas
- Contents proposal for EAI endorsement
- Inputs and contents dissemination through the EAI tools
- Contents feeding to EAI Publications and Newsletter
- Integration and discussion of the Strategic Forum outputs
- Approval by individual vote of the EAI agenda and initiatives
- Interaction and skills and knowledge sharing with EAI members
- Liaison and cooperation with the EAI Community
