Giovanni Russello

Giovanni Russello leads the security technical group within the iNSPIRE Area. Giovanni received his MsC (summa cum laude) in Computer Science from University of Catania, Italy in 2000. In 2006, he obtained his PhD from the Eindhoven University of Technology.
During his PhD, Giovanni spent one year at the Philips Research Labs in Eindhoven as visiting researcher to apply some of the results of his PhD research to healthcare application scenarios. After obtaining his PhD, Giovanni moved to the Policy Group in the Department of Computing at Imperial College London where he developed a decentralised trust-management system for the e-health application domain.
