Scope:  The shape of funding is changing. Driven by budget cutbacks and market jitters, innovative new deals are the order of the day. How grassroots philosophy and collaborative platforms may help fill in the step from the dream to reality and what “traditional” funding can learn from it.

Outputs: The Working Group on Funding and Business Development will oversee and coordinate the Innovation Fund. This fund is designed to address the needs of the most talented minds and original ideas in Europe through funding projects that will foster innovative solutions to overcome barriers between the academic and business world.
