Scope:  Recent global events have provided a clear example of how innovative technology can enable fundamental societal change: how can we harness ICT for positive impact on our future, influencing not only further technology developments, engaging ICT in a positive way for societal changes, such as peace, development, morality.

Outputs: The focus of this Working Group is to anticipate long-term implications on emerging information technologies and the digital society. Through recommendations and white papers the working group will address challenges brought forward by social, ethical, and legal implications of research and development of ICT technologies.
