EUDL
The European Union Digital Library
The European Union Digital Library (EUDL) is the central repository of all scientific content published under the different avenues of ICST publications, including journal and magazine articles, conference proceedings and book chapters. EUDL contains all proceedings pertaining to EAI's technical, science-to-business and engineering for innovation conferences.
e-Scripts
A revolutionary Web 2.0 peer review system for journal and magazine publications
e-Scripts uses Web 2.0 inspired mechanisms of community interaction to enhance the scholarly publication process. A novel bidding procedure enables the selection of self-motivated reviewers whose expertise is assessed through UCount. As a result, e-Scripts substantially reduces the timeframe of the traditional scientific publication lifecycle, and so expedites the transformation of abstract research ideas into practical applications.
U-Count
A community-based approach for measuring scientific reputation
EAI is offering its Society the opportunity to define a new way of measuring scientific reputation and effort for the research community. With the UCount approach, both participative/representative measures and bibliometric excellence are combined into a single ‘Reputation Metric’ that incorporates opinions from the community. The UCount approach has been developed to promote a clear, tangible indication of scientific contributions to society activities (i.e., Reputation), while at the same time recognising individual excellence and scientific impact through bibliographic measures (i.e., Metric).
